The COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent quarantine of communities in the Philippines caused many households to lose their livelihood and income. In response, Bags of Hope fundraised $1100 through a GoFundMe page, bottle drives, crinkles sales, and a Christmas carolling fundraiser to provide support to the Carland Creekside Community. With the help of our volunteers, we were able to create relief packages for each of the 75 families in the community, containing rice, eggs, and noodles. Our volunteers distributed the bags and dropped them off outside each house. This program was a great success, and we were grateful to be able to provide some much-needed assistance to those in need during this difficult time.
